Forex Trading Floor Manager Trainee, Trading Floor Operations, Boston

Advanta Capital Markets Inc.  is seeking an ambitious, driven professional with some forex trading background as well as leadership/supervisory experience to help build and develop a new trading floor in Boston.

Advanta is a privately owned trading firm specializing in foreign currency trading.  Our business is focused on recruiting motivated individuals to learn successful forex trading methods and then allow them to use our trading platform to earn an income.   We offer unique prop trading plans to our traders that help them succeed.  Our bricks and mortar approach to trading and the establishing of physical trading locations gives Advanta a unique niche in the forex trading world.  Advanta's mission is to help traders become successful in the world's largest financial market.  

This position requires very good management skills as well as the ability to understand trading and strategies for successful trading.   This individual will also be required to train new traders in our trading methodology from time to time and will be expected to meet recruiting quotas as well as P&L quotas. 

This position requires a significant commitment to training that will last 8-12 weeks depending on experience.  Training is online.  Individual will be required to meet benchmark trading success and demonstrate proficiency prior to being placed in position.  Individual will be asked to execute a formal Employment Agreement prior to being placed in position. 

This individual once in position will be given a generous capital account to trade for personal earnings to supplement a base salary.  Individual will be offer a Regional Vice President role after training.  We will also be compensate our R.V.P.'s a quarterly bonus from profits of the traders.  Health insurance and retirement benefits available also.

  

  Trading Floor Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee all office Forex traders and assist in trading decisions
• Make all office management decisions 
• Maintain hardware/software and office technology to standards
• Develop comfortable team environment for all traders
• Mentor traders with the trading methods as needed
• Monitor trades outstanding to insure compliance with standards
• Design company promotional programs to foster unity and worker satisfaction
• Communicate with Director of Risk Management daily

Qualifications:

• Preferred but not essential College degree in Finance/Analytics/Accounting - or similar financial field
• Prior experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
• Prior experience with Forex preferred but not necessary
• Familiarity with MetaTrader 4 preferred but not necessary
• Some technology knowledge as to systems maintenance and troubleshooting
• Some trading floor background preferred

  Compensation:

• Bonus after completion of training
• Base Salary once in position
• Monthly profit sharing based on trading volume
• Personal trading commissions
• Quarterly bonus if targets achieved
